Mission
The sole purpose of the organization shall be to improve and/or maintain Columbia Park for the benefit of the North Portland Peninsula by working with park neighbors, users, other interested individuals or organizations and the Park Bureau of Portland, to identify and solve problems and to participate in future projects in accordance with a formalized agenda developed through open and publicized meetings.

Organization Profile
Friends Of Columbia Park is a non profit organization whose members are residents in the North Portland Community.
Friends Of Columbia Park have the honor of working with several other organizations in the Portland community such as Portland Parks and Recreation Department, City of Portland, METRO, Housing Authority of Portland, Caring Community of Portland, Portland Public Schools, Peninsula Community Development Corporation, Office of Neighborhood Involvement, The Community Association of Portsmouth and Kenton Neighborhood Association.
The organization strives to serve the best interests of Columbia Park by acting as stewards of Columbia Cottage and of the Park.
Friends of Columbia Park support community building activities at a grass roots level.
